My interest is piqued- can you describe a little about what Touring Chair was? Thanks!

They were sort of electric rickshaws. Well, some of them were electric, some of them were pushed. I have a lot of articles mentioning them from 1939, and I want to make a mini-documentary out of some of the stories.

So funny: I was picturing special chairs displayed site-to-site, sort of like the conversation-piece giant chair of the old PA Dutch folk festival in Kutztown, PA. (I hear that was rescued at auction and is now displayed at another newer festival.)
